How to Redeem Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on PC

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is a new subscription service from Microsoft that bundles all Xbox gaming services including Xbox Game Pass for PC/Console, Xbox Live Gold, and newly added EA Play. Microsoft also started to include the service gift card when you purchase an Xbox console or controller.

In case you get one similar to the picture above with 25 characters codes, you can use the following methods to redeem the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on your PC.

Redeem Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via Microsoft Store

To redeem the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on your PC via Microsoft Store:

1. Sign in to your PC with the Microsoft account you want to redeem the code with.
2. Open Microsoft Store.
3. Select the Profile Icon.
   
4. Select Redeem code or gift cards.
   
5. Type the 25-character code from the gift card you have.
   
6. Select Confirm to start redeeming your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gift card.
   

Redeem Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via Xbox App

Similarly to the previous method, to redeem the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on your PC via the Xbox app:

1. Sign in to your PC with the Microsoft account you want to redeem the code with.
2. Open the Xbox app.
3. Select the Profile Icon.
   
4. Select Settings.
   
5. Under the Redeem a code section select REDEEM.
   
6. Type the 25-character code from the gift card you have.
   
7. Select Confirm to start redeeming your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gift card.
   
8. Select Close to complete the process.
   
9. Now you can see your new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate shown up under the Subscription section along with expiration date.
